GCHS artist McClain participates in Art Seminar in Colorado

Nathan McClain, a senior, received a full tuition scholarship to the Marie Walsh Sharpe Art Foundation Seminar which was conducted this past summer in Colorado College.
A total of twenty-four stundents from Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, and Wisconsin were selected to participate in the two-week visual art studio program.
The program was held July 22 to August 4.
High school juniors from 41 states were selected to attend the 1990 Summer Seminar sessions, each two weeks in length, which were held on the campus of Colorado College.
Nathan has plans of pursuing a career in art.
He has expressed interest in Washington University in St. Louis but is still undecided on which college he will attend.
