| Nathan McClain was a contemporary St. Louis area artist who died tragically in 1997 at the age of 24.
McClain left behind a vast legacy of art that includes a massive 16 feet x 8 feet mural which was saved from demolition by a grassroots fundraising effort and is being dedicated at Coolidge Middle School.
In April 2005, the prestigious international Archives & Museum Informatics organization recognized McClain for his impact and inspiration of communities to preserve his mural 7 years after his death. |
