Nate McClain (American, 1973 - 1997) Hand Bell, 1995 Acrylic Hand Bell is an original illustration that was a college project to incorporate the path an art student takes from their residence to the art building. At the time, Nate was living near the Southwest Missouri State University (SMSU) campus at the corner of Holland & Normal. Nate was 21 years old when he created this artwork as part of an Art Design project at SMSU in Springfield, Missouri. After graduation, Nate became a freelance artist and used this illustration on business cards emphasizing his skills with murals, illustration, and design. The initial versions of his business card had a typo of his last name. The owner of Nate's painting remains unknown. Please contact us if you have any information on the location.
