Self Portrait - Hawaiian is an original self portrait depicting Nate in his trademark Hawaiian shirt while painting this self portrait. Nate was 20 years old when he created this artwork at Southwest Missouri State University (SMSU) in Springfield, Missouri.

I remember this one too! That's the art building at SMSU. Nate was always a slave to fashion.

This is my ultimate favorite. I remember Nate working on this one. It is truly Nate captured on Canvas. Right down to the smirk. I love it.
