On night Nate and I were drinking Gin and Tonic with Blood Oranges out of the ceramic "blood chalis's" that Dave and Nate had in the loft. This was followed by a long night at the Tangerine Room where Nate and I brought food coloring to color our Gin & Tonics. The bartender didn't know why our drinks were a different color everytime he came back for refills. Then back to the loft where qwe danced in the dark for hours. Needless to say we were all pretty tanked. The next day Nate decided to get out his BB gun and take shots at the workers that were re-building the warehouse that Nates windows faced. I never knew what they were doing to the building but there was always somebody working on it. I moved to California shortly after Nate died and never thought about it again as it was just a stupid drunk thing. When I was back visiting my family with my new wife and son my Dad took us to the City Museum. Wouldn't you know it, the Museum is the building behind Nate's loft. We pulled up and I was laughing out loud thinking about our stupidity. I then had to explain why I was laughing without letting my 9 year old son know what a bunch of delinquents ( and I say that with the utmost of fondness)we all were!! Then there was the time.......! Where does it end. I laugh just thinking about things that are just too stupid or inappropriate to write here. Those were the days.

When Nate moved into the Art Lofts, it was just like old times again. I practically lived there every weekend. There were tons of people hanging out, great parties, and we became regulars at the Tangerine bar which was a block or so down the street. It was during this time that Nate nicknamed me "Guido" and we found the infamous 'fro at a shop on the Landing. The photo with Nate on the street is actually Nate in New York City. I won a contest to see the David Letterman show and invited Nate along. This was a great 2 day trip which resulted in Nate realizing a dream to see Manhattan and me ending up on the Top Ten list because of my driver's license photo.
