Nate McClain (American, 1973 - 1997) Totem Pole, 1995 Pastel 24 x 14 inches Courtesy of Blake Totem Pole is an original composition incorporating images from Nate's time at Southwest Missouri State University (SMSU) in the form of symbols on a totem pole. Features Boomer the Bear college mascot, Springfield Cashew Chicken food containers, paint supplies, a bowling ball, Nate's converse tennis shoes, and the tuba from his Rooster Tuba (1990) painting.
